Embedding conversation hearts inside resin can be so cute BUT so cliche (boring!) and I didn't want to fall into that trap this Valentine's Day.... so..... I decided to make my very own big blingy conversation hearts! Chock full of real candy sprinkles and loads of supersweet glitter! Are you naughty or nice??? I've got some that are so sweet it hurts... and others that are bittersweet with some attitude! These hearts and BIG (2" wide) and BOLD... they really make a statement!
Here are some that I currently have available in my ETSY... many more to come! I'll be making these year-round!!!
Hi... my name is Kim Ripley (formerly Sobanski). I am 29 years young and I am from Mount Clemens, MI. My passion lies in art, photography, and creating jewelry. I graduated from Wayne State University in Dec. 2005 with a BFA in photography. I would have to say that I have been an artist my entire life. I think I was born with a crayon in my hand.
When I am not busy creating I enjoy other things. I love thrift stores, antique shops, and yard sales. I have always got my eyes open for strange, tacky, and kitschy things. I am also obsessed with searching out Ebay and Etsy for neato finds!
Which leads me to my next interest- found objects. I collect found items (photos, letters, shopping lists, etc.). I am a huge fan of Found magazine and I even have a 2-page spread of photos and a letter in Dirty Found #2!!
I am currently married to the love of my life~ Joe (we've been together since Nov '99). We have a daughter, Chloe Pearl, who was born in December 2009. We also have one min-pin dog named JoJo.
We hope to make it out to Vegas someday and get out of Michigan.
