Spring Bling!

Earlier this week I was working on something that is fairly new to me. I'm trying to change up my style a bit and come up with some fresh designs. I love creating these painted cameos with vintage imagery inside! They're so much fun to make and I really love blinging them up! I also created a couple of heart-shaped resin necklaces with the vintage images inside. They turned out super cute!

ETSY shop SaintChicago has the coolest floor pillow I've ever seen. A BIG GIANT donut with frosting and sprinkles! Mmmmmm! I would just love to have that green one for my living room. I do a lot of sitting on the floor when I watch TV and my bony ass could definitely use the comfort that this donut could provide. For $55 this pillow is a steal! I hope to own one someday.

I just released a new necklace in my ETSY shop today... Lucy In The Sky With Cupcakes!! Lately I'm all about dangling things off my pendants. :O) I love the thought of adding some sort of extra element to my necklaces... gluing things on too (like I did with my All Dolled Up necklace).

I've been brainstorming all sorts of new ideas the past week. I had a bit of a slow week in my shop which was sort of a good thing... I needed a short break- desperately!
So be on the lookout for plenty of new bling... and I'll let you all in on a little secret... lots of new molds have been ordered... which means- new shapes! Yay!

I also added some new mermaid pendants to my shop which both sold out in no time at all! I was shocked!!! I'll be making more though... so don't worry!

Unidentified Flying Sprinkles - oh my!

You knew it was coming! A sprinkles bracelet was coming your way- finally after all this time! I had created a sprinkles bracelet earlier this year that was made entirely of resin (bangle) but it was godawful uncomfortable! The molds that Sheri Haab sells on her website for bracelets are horrible! I had bought a good size from her and even with small wrists and not-so-big hands the bangles that her molds produce are horrid! Plus- the bracelet mold that Haab sells eats up a lot of resin.

SO kiddies.... I MADE THIS! Doesn't it just remind you of UFOs?!?

This is a 17.5" silver-plated bracelet that is adorned with 6- 1" REAL candy sprinkles resin gems. Each round resin gem is filled with 3 different types of sprinkles: big rainbow balls, rainbow sticks, and tiny rainbow dots. The shape of these charms reminds me of little flying saucers! These babies are full to the brim with sugary sweet rainbow goodness that is sure to satisfy your sweet-tooth!

Wow... this necklace is so Willy-Wonka to me! It reminds me of the candyshop in the beginning of the movie for some odd reason! Anyway... this was an idea I had in mind for awhile and I finally gave it a try and it turned out absolutely adorable! It's like having a little jar of candy around your neck! So sweet! The pendant consists of a tiny glass bottle that I filled up with oodles and oodles of REAL rainbow candy sprinkles! The sprinkles are sealed inside the bottle with resin and the cap of the bottle is also sealed with resin so it will not open up. I just love how this turned out!!! So frickin' cute!

One of my ETSY friends has the coolest last name- COCK. So she wanted one of my conversation-hearts customized with her awesome last name! How cool is that?!?! I love it.... it's cockalicious! I had a blast making this one.

I added a couple of brand spankin' new super-colorful super-duper items to my shop yesterday!
A resin sprinkles pin with denture partials dangling AND a print of a photo that I shot at a local flea-market. I'm really dang proud of the pin! I've never seen anything like it before and I was really thinking outside the box on that one! It may not have mass-appeal... but that's fine with me! Can't please everyone all the time... right?!?

I created this unique pin by embedding real rainbow candy sprinkles inside resin.
Dangling from this candy-bar you will find a partial denture reminding you to keep your teeth free from cavities!
This charm (the teeth) are hard to find. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to snag one of these sweet pins! I only have a limited supply of the teeth on hand.

Double Bubble Dirtmall Gumball - Fine Art Print

This vibrant photograph of a giant gumball machine was shot at a local flea-market (aka: dirtmall). The image was shot inside the food court and if you look closely in the background you will see one leg up in a wheelchair too at one of the booths. :O)

Handmade Conversation Hearts

Embedding conversation hearts inside resin can be so cute BUT so cliche (boring!) and I didn't want to fall into that trap this Valentine's Day.... so..... I decided to make my very own big blingy conversation hearts! Chock full of real candy sprinkles and loads of supersweet glitter!

Are you naughty or nice??? I've got some that are so sweet it hurts... and others that are bittersweet with some attitude! These hearts and BIG (2" wide) and BOLD... they really make a statement!
