This morning I woke up and read a convo by ETSY seller and Flickr-whore BOOPSIEDAISY. She ordered a Triple-Sweet ring from me a few weeks ago and just received it. Me, being her number one fan, had to create something *extra* special for her... so I made her a custom Boopsie necklace. I'm so glad she loves it and I'm so honored that she ordered some of my resin bling. I'm pretty sure I pissed myself with excitement when I saw the order from her too! Thank you soooooooooooo much BoopsieDaisy!
I also ordered one of her super-duper awesome handmade dolls last weekend- Dunkin Donna. I am super excited about owning one of her handmade creations... totally thrilled. :O)

As a lover of green, candy, dogs, and poop... I was immediately drawn to this adorable shirt made by ETSY seller applenoggin. I have been wanting to make a purchase from her shop for some time now and last night I made an impulse buy and ordered this shirt. There are so many other great things in her shop so please take a look! :O)
YAY! FatDaddyBakeShop reopened today! She's been closed since the 12th of March and my mouth has been watering ever since. I just ordered a 3-pack of cupcakes. :O) This time I went with the Red Velvet Revolution, Berry Berry Dark, and Chocolate Chip off the ‘Ol Block. Can't wait to get these!!! I'll be checking my mail like an anxious little girl every day!

Hi... my name is Kim Ripley (formerly Sobanski). I am 29 years young and I am from Mount Clemens, MI. My passion lies in art, photography, and creating jewelry. I graduated from Wayne State University in Dec. 2005 with a BFA in photography. I would have to say that I have been an artist my entire life. I think I was born with a crayon in my hand.
When I am not busy creating I enjoy other things. I love thrift stores, antique shops, and yard sales. I have always got my eyes open for strange, tacky, and kitschy things. I am also obsessed with searching out Ebay and Etsy for neato finds!
Which leads me to my next interest- found objects. I collect found items (photos, letters, shopping lists, etc.). I am a huge fan of Found magazine and I even have a 2-page spread of photos and a letter in Dirty Found #2!!
I am currently married to the love of my life~ Joe (we've been together since Nov '99). We have a daughter, Chloe Pearl, who was born in December 2009. We also have one min-pin dog named JoJo.
We hope to make it out to Vegas someday and get out of Michigan.
