Wow!
So 2007 turned out to be a pretty awesome year!! The best ever in my 26 years.
I got married to Joe in Las Vegas, quit my shitty job at Sears Portrait, learned some new crafts, and opened up my Etsy shop in the fall. Life is good! The year started off rather slow and miserable and ended with a *BANG*!!
I have come a long way this year. I am now a wife and also a fulltime working artist. All this change has been so good for me... I am so happy to be alive! :O)
For 2008 I've got some somewhat big plans. I hope to continue running a successful Etsy shop but I want it to be so much more! I want it to be bigger and better in 2008. I plan on learning some new crafts like button-making and polymer clay... and who knows what else?!?! I'm always learning new things. I also want to expand on my resin jewelry-making. I want to make sure my stuff really stands out and I want to experiment with different techniques.
I also can't wait until it gets nice out again. I'm dting to bust out my Holga camera and get some new prints into my shop. I'm so uninspired with photography in the winter season. I'll be back to my shutterbug ways come spring!
Can't wait until the big ball drops tonight! I've got a good feeling that 2008 is going to be great!
Happy New Year everyone! Stay safe and be happy!
The last item of the day for 2007 comes from the ETSY shop of luciajohnson. Goody Blue Shoes is a print of an original "window painting". I think this print is sexy as hell and I really do love those long green stems chillin on the sofa. Hot! Hot! Hot damn!

Today's ETSY item of the day comes from the shop of winnieatepooh. It's an Ooey Gooey Pink Brain adjustable ring made out of polymer clay. Very unique. Very cool!Because I am a stoopid gerl I could totally use something like this! lol!
Today's ETSY Item of the Day is a sold item! I was browsing for art last night and when I saw this Boob Fairy collage I had to have it! The mastermind behind the Boob Fairy is pinkflamingo61. The truth is I'm a girl with an invisible rack- 34A's. I've always dreamed of having a bigger chest. When I got this magical piece of art she's going right up on my wall and I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that she'll give me a B cup someday!
Today's ETSY Item of the Day is another print! This print, Jenna, is the next print on my wishlist and it comes from the ETSY shop of PaperThinDesign. The description of this print reads, "The world would be a better place if everyone screamed for ice cream." Wow... I couldn't agree more with that statement! Me and my hubby, Joe, are huge fans of ice-cream. When we first started dating we used to go to Big Boys and order huge ice-cream sundaes and spoonfeed it to each other- it was so cute! Jenna brings back so many of those fond memories for me!! Gotta love that little ice-cream dude in the frame on the wall too! That cracks me up!!
Not much time left to get your orders in for my Swimcap print!! This print is being run until the end of 2007 and will not be printed in the new year. Only a few days left to get this print! See my ETSY shop to get yours today!
I have been busy in my little resin lab concocting some sweet Valentine's Day jewelry. I will have several necklaces and pins available after XMAS in my ETSY Shop. Here is a sneak peek on what will be available. I listed one necklace today!
Today's ETSY Item Of The Day comes from the ETSY shop of nutraj. This fuschia necklace is oh-so-pretty in pink! I would love to wrap this delicious piece around my neck. It reminds me of hard candy.

I hate winter... but I am really loving this new fine-art photo pendant necklace that I just added to my ETSY shop! The pendant features a macro (close-up) photograph of my blue eye. The photo is sealed with resin in an oxidized silver bezel frame. I also dropped 3 tiny Swarovski crystals onto it to enhance its iciness.
